12 Weeks Old!

Mylie is 12 weeks old today. She smiles all the time now and is still such a joy. And as you can see, she drools a lot now too!

Friends & Family in Dallas

We decided to break up the trip back to Houston and stopped in Dallas so Mylie could meet some friends and family.

Sing Song Weekend in Abilene

We met David's family in Abilene this past weekend to watch David's brother perform in ACU's Sing Song. The drive to Abilene was a long one, but well worth it once we got there and spent time with the family.

David comes to ABQ to get us...and to ski

David flew to ABQ the last few days of our trip to get his skiing fix for the winter and to fly back with us to Houston. Mylie also got to meet her Great Grandma Bev and Bev's wonderful husband Bob, Cousins Matt and Amber and their boys Brice, Connor and Aidan when David got into town. I'm not sure where my camera was that night, but we had so much fun. There is still more ABQ family for her to meet, but we were so happy to see those that we did.


She's such a great traveler. She slept the entire flight back to Houston.

Meeting the Carlsbad Crew

Mylie, Grandpa Dobbs and I went to Carlsbad while we were in New Mexico. This was the first time for Mylie to meet her Great Grandma Dobbs. She also met the Edwards and the Whiteakers and went to eat at the WORLD FAMOUS Cortez Restaurant! Well, the Cortez is famous in our family!

I am Grandma Dobbs' only granddaughter and Mylie is her only great granddaughter...so far!
I took a break from feeding while Grandma took over. Can you tell she raised 4 boys? She's still got it!
Mylie is half naked because she had a complete meltdown before Michelle and Melissa arrived and taking off her clothes was one of the things I tried to help her stop crying. She happied up just in time to see Michelle and Melissa, but I didn't have enough time to put her clothes back on!
