5 Months Old!

Mylie is 5 months old today! It really does seem like just yesterday we found out I was pregnant with her. We are so glad she is here. David and I frequently talk to each other about just how much we love her. And often times, we are not capable of explaining to each other the overwhelming love we feel for her. She is our heart!

Mylie's First Zoo Trip

Mylie and I went to the Fort Worth Zoo today. She didn't really notice any of the animals, but she loved being outside. She was so happy the entire time and it was so fun to spend the day together!




I was trying to get Mylie to look at the giraffe out in the field, but then I realized that I wasn't even able to get her attention by calling her by her own name!
Mylie was sacked out after a fun day.

Uncle Mike's Visit

David's brother Michael and his girlfriend Shaylee came to town to see Mylie on their way to his club formal.


Mylie loves her Uncle Michael and gave him lots of smiles.

Nature Walk

David found these biking & hiking paths near our house. He left work early today, so off we went!

I'm so tired...I fell asleep with my toy on my face!

I knew it! She's BRILLIANT!!!

Mylie passed a HUGE developmental milestone today!







Mylie and I were doing our usual morning routine...eating, burping (or spitting up on mom), play time...and I put her on her stomach so I could clean up a little. I looked over and saw her tuck her shoulder and roll! I quickly grabbed the camera and put her on her stomach again and she rolled over again! She's a genius!

Mornings are the best...

I love every minute I have with Mylie, but I especially love spending the mornings with her. She is so happy...our little smiley Mylie.
