Christmas 2007

Christmas is great every year, but it was especially wonderful this year with Mylie excited about boxes, wrapping paper and bows...and sometimes the nice gifts inside them.

We had our little Christmas at home before we packed up the car and headed back to NM for the holidays.

David got me and "the girls" the most adorable book...The Daring Book for Girls. We have lots of adventures ahead of us!

Mylie is playing the drums with her new music kit from her dad.

Christmas Eve Communion with David's family...

We spend Christmas Eve at my mom's house. Here's Mylie being goofy before opening presents from Grami and GranDan.

And Christmas morning at Grandpa Dobbs's house. These were the boxes she thoroughly enjoyed.

We spent Christmas day afternoon with David's parents (not sure where the camera was but we have LOTS of video) and then headed to Pagosa Springs, CO at the end of the week with David's family for New Year's. David has been going to this lodge with his family and his parents best friends, the Russell's, for many, many years. He has lots of memories at that lodge and I know he was thrilled to take Mylie up and include her in some of the most fun times in his life.

Mylie says, "So this is how you make me all those quilts!"
We went ice skating on the pond in Pagosa with Mylie's Uncle Mike.

Happy New Year!!!
The long drive home...

Despite the extremely cold weather in ABQ and in Pagosa, we had such a great time seeing our family. We know next year will be so much fun as Mylie gets older and becomes more excited about Christmas and we are also excited to have another little girl joining our family. We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!
