Trip to New Mexico

The girls and I went to Carlsbad and Albuquerque last week. We had a great trip and were able to see lots of family and friends.

Mylie and her Great Grandma Dobbs

Here's Mylie discovering ketchup and fries at The Red Chimney in Carlsbad. We had to bleach her shirt clean.

Here's sweet little Emmery.

Michelle and I are so excited that our girls are getting to play together. We can't wait to watch them grow up together!

It was so blazing hot in Carlsbad so we put the girls outside in the pool and it appears that Mylie was more intrigued by the water hose. Although Mylie didn't take the opportunity to drink from the hose like we did as kids, should she have wanted to, this hose was lead free. Thanks Neta B!!!

Michelle or I had to be in the pool with Mylie because she kept slipping and going under.

Mylie didn't take a nap the entire day and was SO tired by dinner...

This short nap did just the trick!

Now off to ABQ to see the grandparents!

Coley is becoming so smiley. She did great on this trip!

And dozing with Nonna...

Mylie learned how to play Badmitten...or how to hit the birdie around.

David's mom had her family over to see the girls and here is Aunt Cheryl with Coley.

We had such a fun time in New Mexico. The girls did great on the plane ride home (with the help of Ralph & Carole: aka Papa & Nonna). We were sad to leave everyone, but were also glad to be home.

Some hoses aren't lead free? Good to know. You have such an adorable family.
