Fall Fun

We've been having a good time this fall season! It seems our weekly schedule has become pretty busy with preschool, doctor's appointments, bible study, grocery store trips, etc...so we try to sneak in some fun as much as we can.


Grandpa Dobbs has some pretty big trees in his front yard that drop quite a few leaves, so we went to introduce the girls to jumping in the leaves.

Mylie was a little hesitant at first...


but she warmed up to the idea of jumping in the leaves...


and eventually enjoyed rolling around in them!



Halloween!!!

My mom invited us all over for pizza, pumpkin painting and Halloween cookie decorating on Hallow's Eve! Poor Coley got so sick with the stomach flu (all weekend!) so she and David stayed home Friday night.

Our poor sick girl. She really didn't feel well all weekend. She was running a fever, having the worst diapers and really just wanted to be held. We started to put her Halloween costume on her and make the grandparents-house trip, but we only got her pants on before she started to cry. Fortunately, she is feeling much better now!






David and Mylie had a fun time carving their pumpkins. While Coley and I made a trip to the doctor's office, David had the great idea to save the pumpkin seeds and roast them. Mylie loved them!





After we made the rounds to the grandparents houses, David and Mylie hit a few houses around the neighborhood. Luckily, it was chilly, so Mylie's costume kept her warm.
