18 months

Our little Mylie is 18 months old today. This sweet gal is everything parents pray for in a child. Of course no child is perfect, but Mylie is perfect for us. She has the sweetest little spirit, loves to smile and although can still be stingey with her snuggles, but it is well worth the wait when she does hug. She loves to play outside and throw the ball for our dog Martie. And every morning when she eats her breakfast, she greets her at the back window by yelling "MARTIEEEEEEE." Mylie chatters up a storm and has lots of words, but our new favorite is when she takes Coley's diapers to the trash, she says "ewww!" the entire trip to the trash can. She can count to 2, loves it when we sing the ABC's to her, only really enjoys the first 3 minutes while watching Barney, loves Mini Nilla Wafers, and although she wakes up between 6:45 and 7:00am, she will happily play with her pacifiers and babies in her crib until 8:30am. She gets so excited when Coley is within arms reach and will sweetly say "baby" every time she does see her. Mylie is always looking through books, and likes to try to identify the animals, body parts, food, etc in her books. It seems like she really is soaking up everything at this stage and it is so amazing to see what all she really knows. I wish everyone could know our Mylie like we do because she is so wonderful.
